The shooting occurred at the Midvale Park Shopping Center on Monday night. The deceased man, 61-year-old Richard Lee Richards, was suspected of stealing a toolbox from a Walmart in Tucson, police said. When a Walmart loss prevention employee followed Richards outside of the store and asked him for his toolbox receipt, Richards reportedly pulled out a knife and said, “Here’s my receipt,” police said. The employee then contacted police....

FiveThirtyEight, which compiles and analyzes polls, shows Whitmer with a 12 point lead in the race. Her overall polling average is 51.6 percent compared to Dixon’s 40 percent. The latest poll in the race, released by the Trafalgar Group on Friday, shows Whitmer with the support of nearly 51 percent of voters, and Dixon with just over 45 percent....

Kemp drew the ire of Trump following the November 2020 presidential election after Georgia flipped blue for President Joe Biden.
