Officers were first called on Monday after reports that a 56-year-old man from Milwaukee had threatened to physically harm his neighbor while wielding a chainsaw. The suspect was arrested for disorderly conduct while armed. A day later, officers were dispatched to a Black Lives Matter demonstration outside the suspect’s home. While officers were monitoring the protest they were notified that the suspect was inside his home standing by a window and that the suspect “motioned the long gun as if he chambered a round and then pointed the gun at the crowd....

TTM are currently in 11th place in the South African Premier Division and are the underdogs going into this match. The home side held Cape Town City to a 2-2 draw and will need to be at its best this week. Orlando Pirates are in sixth place in the league at the moment and have not been particularly impressive over the past few weeks. The Buccaneers slumped to a 1-1 draw against Moroka Swallows in their previous game and have plenty of work to do ahead of this match....

The mayor of Washington, DC, Muriel Bowser, paid tribute to the country’s top infectious diseases expert for his guidance about the coronavirus pandemic this year. Bowser announced that this year’s Christmas Eve would be proclaimed “Dr. Anthony S. Fauci Day” in the district to mark his birthday on Thursday. Describing him as a “hero to our nation,” Bowser said in a statement: “We are incredibly proud to count him among the many DC residents who are sacrificing so much to keep our communities healthy and safe....
